How MeshForge credits work
September 23, 2026 · 5 min read
One credit is €0.05. Every step shows its price before you start, you only pay what a job actually used, and packs, daily deals and the Pro plan change how much you get for your money.

MeshForge runs on credits. Generation, texturing, retopology, rigging, animation clips and extra export formats each have a credit price, and every price is shown before you click. This guide explains how credits are priced, how a job is charged, the ways to buy credits, what the Pro plan adds, and how marketplace earnings and withdrawals work.
What a credit is worth
One credit is priced at €0.05. All charges are settled in euros. If you choose another display currency in your settings, amounts in that currency are shown as an estimate; what you actually pay is the euro amount.
Quote, hold, settle
Every job goes through the same three stages:
- Quote. Before you start, the studio shows what the job will cost, broken down by step: the base generation plus any options such as higher texture resolution, ULTRA geometry, a T-pose pre-step or extra export formats.
- Hold. When the job starts, the quoted credits are held from your balance, so you cannot accidentally start more work than you can pay for.
- Settle. When the job finishes, you are charged what it actually used — never more than the quote. The difference goes back to your balance automatically.
If a job fails, all of its held credits are returned. Some steps are free on purpose: the rig check, which tells you whether a model can be rigged, costs nothing.
The same quote function is used by the studio, the public API and the worker that settles jobs, so the price you see is the price the system charges.
Ways to get credits
Free credits on sign-up
New accounts receive free credits after confirming their email address, so you can try generation before buying anything.
Credit packs
Packs are one-off purchases. Every pack is priced at the list rate of €0.05 per credit; larger packs add bonus credits on top, which lowers the effective price per credit. The catalogue at the time of writing (September 2026):
| Pack | Credits | Bonus credits | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 100 | — | €5 |
| Maker | 250 | 10 | €12.50 |
| Creator | 500 | 25 | €25 |
| Studio | 1,000 | 100 | €50 |
| Team | 2,000 | 300 | €100 |
| Agency | 5,000 | 1,000 | €250 |
| Enterprise | 10,000 | 2,500 | €500 |
The live catalogue on the Pricing page is always the reference; packs can change.
Daily deals
The Pricing page also shows a set of daily deals: by default 20 offers per 24-hour window (one UTC day), each a credit amount at a per-credit price below the €0.05 list price. Every visitor sees the same set for the same window, and a new set replaces it when the window ends.
Coupons
Promotional coupons, when available, can give a percentage or fixed discount on a purchase, or add bonus credits.
Free and Pro plans
| Free | Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Parallel jobs | 1 | 3 |
| Queue priority | Standard | Priority |
| Commercial licence | No | Yes |
| Free rebuilds | — | 10 per calendar month |
A rebuild re-runs a model's original generation with the same settings and saves the result as a new version of the same model. Pro subscribers get 10 free rebuilds per calendar month (UTC) by default; after that, rebuilds are charged like any other generation. A rebuild started with a free allowance counts towards it even if you cancel it.
The Pro plan also includes a monthly credit allowance; the current amount and the plan price are on the Pricing page.
Selling models and withdrawing earnings
MeshForge has a marketplace where you can list your own models for other users to buy with credits, under a personal or commercial licence.
- You set the price in credits.
- When someone buys, you earn the price minus a 5% platform commission. Earnings are valued at €0.05 per credit.
- You can withdraw earnings as a payout. A 5% withdrawal fee is deducted from the amount transferred, and the minimum payout is €10.
Commission, withdrawal fee and minimum are the defaults at the time of writing; the Earnings page always shows the rates that apply to you before you confirm a payout.
Tips for spending less
- Preview untextured first. An untextured text generation is the cheapest way to check a shape.
- Add options only when needed. HD (4K) and EXTREME (8K) textures, ULTRA geometry and extra formats each add to the quote.
- Download GLB unless you need another format; GLB comes with every generation.
- Iterate with the same seed so each attempt changes one thing, not everything.
- Watch the daily deals if you are about to buy a larger amount.
A worked example
Suppose you want a textured character for a game prototype, rigged, with two animation clips, delivered as FBX.
- Check the shape first. Run an untextured text generation. It is the cheapest option, and if the silhouette is wrong you have spent very little.
- Generate the textured version once the prompt is right. The quote shows the base price and any options you added.
- Run the rig check. It is free. If the model cannot be rigged, you find out before paying for rigging.
- Rig and animate. Each is its own step with its own quote; animation clips are chosen in the same step.
- Export FBX. GLB comes with every generation; FBX is an extra format with its own price on the quote.
At every step you see the price before you confirm, and at the end you are charged what each job actually used. The per-step prices change with the options you pick, so the studio and the API reference are the places to read current numbers.
Where to see your balance and history
Your current balance is shown in the app header, and your billing page lists purchases and invoices. Each job records the credits it held and the credits it finally charged, so you can always see why a balance changed.
